![]() ![]() To empty the Trash folder, choose Project > Empty Trash, or right-click the Trash folder and choose Empty Trash. If your file or folder is there, drag the item back to its location. If you notice that an item is missing in your Binder, check the Trash. Sometimes you accidentally move files to the Trash, by hitting the above keyboard shortcuts. To move items to the Trash, either drag them to the Trash folder, right-click and chose Move to Trash, or press Command-Delete (Mac) or Ctrl+Del (Windows). ![]() You can move files and folders to the Trash whenever you want, but you don't have to empty the Trash. As with operating systems like macOS and Windows, the Trash folder in Scrivener's Binder is meant to be a sort of purgatory between life in your project and total deletion. ![]()
